Slept on the sleeper train back from Les Arcs, got to Ashford at 10 am still buzzing...

Was down at Camber by 11.30. Quite a few guys out, but the wind was really gusty. Thought about chickening out, especially as the wave board is in for repair, but 'went for it' on the Axxis.

It was so hard to get through the break... the wind either just wasn't there, or pulled me over the front.

Tried about 5 times to get out, and on the last attempt almost made it but got pummelled... and ended up with a 200m but very tiring walk of shame. About 50% of us never made it. But I got wet, I got back, and I didn't break anything, so still rate it as a success. Glad I tried.
